Test Automation Engineers at Travefy are an integral part of our product process, who design and write programs that run automatic tests on new or existing software.

As a lean team, Test Automation Engineers at Travefy are never a cog in the machine and always own their own work stream, with ample opportunities for learning, development and most importantly – impact.

This position is available in Lincoln (Nebraska), Omaha (Nebraska), and Pennington (New Jersey)

Roles & Responsibilities

As a Test Automation Engineer you will:

• Write, design, and execute automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically

• Maximize test coverage for the most critical features of the system; • Determine the priority for test scenarios and create execution plans to implement these scenarios

• Write documentation for automated processes including test plans, test procedures, and test cases

• Provide other engineers with tools so they can test their own code

• Log and document bugs in the tracking system

• Set testing standards for other engineers

• You can plan and execute multiple projects simultaneously, and in an organized fashion.

• You have a passion for code and take pride in your work

• You have have experience coding at all levels of a web-app stack from the front-end JavaScript all the way down to the database
  

Requirements

• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Javascript, Python)

• Experience with web application testing and Continuous Integration processes.

• Familiarity with version control, defect tracking, and test management tools (GIT, Jenkins, JIRA).

• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases.

Levels

Available Levels include:

• Test Automation Engineer (Levels I, II, and III)

• Senior Test Automation Engineer
